Like her namesake Minerva, Roman goddess of wisdom, invention, the arts, and martial prowess, Minerva Adams is a woman of many capabilities. In her day job she is a skilled personal trainer who owns and manages her own gym. But in her other life her she is many things, including horseback rider (English AND Western), stunt driver, stunt motorcycle rider, skateboarder, boxer, SCUBA diver, fencer, rock-climber, kick-boxer… It would probably be easier and quicker to list physical skills that she doesn’t have than to continue the list.

Minerva is a movie stuntwoman, with remarkable physical abilities that have won her roles in such films as Million Dollar Baby, in which she played a Jamaican boxer knocked to the canvas by Hillary Swank, and Catwoman where she crashed into things so that Halle Berry wouldn’t have to. She’s been a Power Ranger (Yellow) and a Medieval jouster, but her favorite role so far has been helping other’s achieve the kind of fitness she enjoys.

“I gained some weight in my mid-30s and decided to do something about it,” she says. She made a healthy diet and physical fitness parts of her daily life-style and discovered along the way that she has an ability to motivate others to do the same thing. Her success stems from that fact that her enthusiasm is contagious and her own physical abilities inspiring.

Minerva is AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America) certified; a graduate of Bfit University; has her PADI Scuba certification; and spent two years in the U.S. Army National Guard. She is bilingual (English and Spanish) is CPR Certified, and is an experienced Aerobics Instructor, Motivational Coach, and teaches Yoga Stretch and Power Flex, Kickboxing, mixed Martial Arts.

Cardio Kickboxing

Cardio Kickboxing sessions start with warm-ups, which may include stretching and traditional exercises such as jumping jacks and push-ups; jump rope followed by a Cardio Kickboxing session that includes movements such as knee strikes, kicks, and punches. The Cardio Kickboxing workout is superior to the regular cardio workout because of the strength exercises combined in the sessions and because of the muscular workout provided by working against ones body weight.
